Dog rescued after owners post horrifying craigslist ad

Liz Pendleton, a woman from Missouri took action after she saw a horrible ad in Craiglist pertaining to a dog. She rescued a 4 year old German Shepherd mix after reading that the owners would shoot the dog if no one picked it up by day&rsquo-s end. &ldquo-In the description it said they had no use for the dog and if no one came and got it they would shoot,&rdquo- said Pendleton, of University City, Mo. Having been completely shocked about the ad, Liz, a veterinary student drove Morrisonville, IL to pick up the dog.

&ldquo-It was an hour and a half [drive], and the lady basically didn&rsquo-t say anything,&rdquo- she said. &ldquo-There was no question I was going to get that dog.&rdquo- Pendleton notified the police about the ad and since she can&rsquo-t care for the dog permanently she is hoping that someone else can. The police station reported that Ms. Pendleton named the dog &ldquo-Buck.”
