Paris hilton drops $25,000 for two pomeranians
A lot of celebrities love to buy animals such as dogs and cats and make it their pet. One particular celebrity who just recently bought two pooches is Paris Hilton. This rich hotel heiress sure likes to spend money on dogs.
Paris Hilton bought two Pomeranian pups, a 3-month-old and a 6-month-old, for $25,000 at Betty&rsquo-s Teacup Yorkies in Canada. She then gave the six-month-old pup as a 35th anniversary gift to her mom Kathy Hilton. I bet her mom appreciate the gift she gave her. If you remember Paris also purchased a Pomeranian pooch back in September last year, which cost her $13,000.
The cute little pups look like a ball of cotton with itty bitty eyes, nose, mouth and legs. To be honest, the pups almost look like a small stuffed toy. I reckon Paris just can&rsquo-t resist the cuteness of these pooches. Also, it seems like Pomeranian is her favorite dog breed because she actually owns a few of them.
Although there&rsquo-s nothing wrong in buying dogs, I really think that dropping $12,500 for each pup is very expensive and unnecessary. I do realize that she&rsquo-s born with a lot of money and she can do whatever she wants with it. A lot of people would argue that Paris buy her pups and use them mainly as accessories. Maybe she does and maybe she doesn&rsquo-t, we don&rsquo-t know for sure. What&rsquo-s sure is she&rsquo-s got the money to spend on the things she likes and she always ends up getting it. But I just can help think that she could have use the money to help needy animals in the shelter.
Even though it&rsquo-s their right, it&rsquo-s just sad to see how rich people spend tons of money on buying animals when they can always help animals in the shelter. As with Paris&rsquo- case, she could have gotten the same pups for as low as $100 each and then donate $24,800 to the shelter. To me that would be the best way to get a new pet, save animals lives and help the shelter as well. But again, it&rsquo-s her choice how she spends her fortune. We can only wish she would consider adopting from a shelter the next time she wants to get another dog.
