Katy perry’s cat, kitty purry, is trending on twitter

Kitty Purry has gone viral.

Ailurophile songstress Katy Perry tweeted a photo of her grey and white tabby lounging in a posh shark bed, saying, “cutest picture of the day: Kitty Purry in her Shark bed being a boss! https://twitpic.com/4gwv9k.” It was not unlike any other crazy cat lady’s cute cat tweets, but this one went viral.

Perry’s Twitter followers were quick to hit their keyboards to tweet about Kitty, many expressing a desire to have a bed as nice as Kitty Purry’s shark bed.

Twitterer @Peaches1999 tweeted “@katyperry Kitty Purry is a adorable and being treated accordingly, I can tell!”

Perry and husband Russell Brand also share the home with two other cats, Morrissey and Krusty. Perry’s lifelong love of cats is manifested in the name of her perfume, Purr, which comes in a cat-shaped vial:
