Watch pit bulls getting adopted and feeling love for the first time

Pit bulls are taken to rescues and shelters for a variety of reasons. Some are rescued from deplorable conditions such as fighting rings, homelessness, abuse and neglect. Others are surrendered when they lose their families, when an elderly caregiver is no longer capable of caring for the dog and for any number of other reasons. And many pit bulls live a long time without a family. When they are adopted, however, it&rsquo-s amazing just how much their personalities change. It is not uncommon for these dogs to go from being lonely and afraid to being happy and overwhelmed by the people in their lives.

This video shows what these dogs are like when they are adopted by people who want to love them and give them a home. Their excitement and their affection for these people is contagious. After all, these dogs know that they&rsquo-ve just been saved. They&rsquo-ve been given a second chance at living the kind of life they&rsquo-v always wanted to live, and there is really something to be said about that.
