Captain feline’s pop-culture cat tees: may the cat be with you

If you love pop culture and cats the way we do, then we’re sure you’ll dig these paw-some Captain Feline shirts as much as we do. Featuring kitties in iconic roles such as Darth Vader from Star Wars and Frank-N-Furter from The Rocky Horror Picture Show, cat lovers Dave and Amanda Manz of GritFX and Saucewear’s Kelly have designed a series of T-shirts bound to turn heads and show your feline pride. We’ll order ten!

Oh, but WAIT — the T-shirts don’t exist yet! That’s where we can all step in and make this artist’s dream come true! Captain Feline has turned to Kickstarter to help get its inaugural series off the ground and into your closet, where it’s sure to become your new favorite shirt. With a great set of rewards for backers (like stickers, postcards, smartphone cases, and iPad sleeves), Captain Feline is hoping to raise $12,000 to get these shirts into production and eventually design and release related illustrations.

The plan is to print the designs on high-quality, U.S.-made American Apparel shirts with the help of screen printers Threadbird.
