Hello kitty is a dodgers fan?

Celebrating Japan Night over the weekend, the world’s most famous and most mouth-less cat — Hello Kitty — graced Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles and posed for photos both on and off the field.

Who knew Hello Kitty was a Dodgers fan?

Fans at the game were treated to commemorative mini-Hello Kitty bobbleheads and Hello Kitty Dodgers crowns. The kimono-clad kitten swapped her traditional formal attire for a Dodgers jersey and threw out the first pitch. She must have been good luck, because the Dodgers broke their seven-game losing streak against the New York Mets (apologies to any Mets fans out there).

Besides throwing out the first ball of the game, Hello Kitty was named Japan’s Tourism Ambassador and posed with fans and their families. They might have named Hello Kitty the spokescat for tourism in Japan, but, well, you know … she has no mouth!

It’s been a big weekend for critters and baseball!. On the same day, Timmy the dog and Muttville founder Sherri Franklin got to meet Tim Lincecum of the San Francisco Giants.
