There are certain scenarios dog lovers don&rsquo-t even want to ever have to think about. One of those is &ldquo-just what would my dog do if there was a house fire?&rdquo- Well, as scary as that is to think about, maybe after you hear this story you will realize, dogs are very smart and have a keen survival instinct, so even in the face of tragedy, never lose hope. Take for example, this story. About a dog being trapped inside a blazing house for a whole hour, and still, the dog survives. See, miracles and dogs just seem to go hand in hand.
Essee was in his home alone, when it caught fire. The family was called, and had a feeling they knew where Essee would be. They told the firefighters the precise location where they thought the dog would go to hide, and wouldn&rsquo-t you know it. After an hour in the fire, the dog was crouched, facing the corner they said the dog would be in. They scooped up the scared dog, got it outside, and got it a specially shaped oxygen mask for animals. The rescuers were shocked at just how quickly the dog recovered. Had any human spent that much time in a smokey room, it looks likely it would not have such a happy ending.
We like to call those a mix between miracles and the incredibly strong instincts of a dog. Dog survival stories always make us happy, and this one is up there with the best of them.
